Marine paints are usually called “surface coatings for vessels” and can be defined as coatings applied to a ship’s steel surface for many purposes such as decorating, protecting, or performing some other specialized function. Basically, marine paint are made using four ingredients, namely; vechiles, pigments, solvents and additives. Those are having specific function combined in order to aim the best performance of itself as described above.

  1. Wooden Boat Paints
    There are two categories, which are Kamome and Spaldex with various choices of colors, i.e. Blue, Reddish Brown, White, and Green. Best for anti fouling and prevent sprout up polyp like remise, etc on boat surface. Especially for wooden boat the recommended product is Kamome SG Pink by Chugoku; is an erodible anti-fouling paint which is formulated for protection of underwater surfaces of wooden boat and steel ship’s bottom against fouling and marine organism.
  2. Vessel Paintings;
    There are two alternative, which are:
