Anti corrosion paints are made with four ingredients namely: vehicles, pigments, solvents, and additives. The vehicles gives the paint film protection in continuity and also provides adhesion to the substrate excellency. Anti corrosion paint used to protect steel material against corosion especially on the corrosive circumstances as for acidic location as well as for the offshore and onshore. 

The vehicle carries to the substrate the ingredients that will remain on the surface after the paint has dried. The vehicle contains the combination of resins, platicizers, drying oils, etc., which gives film continuity and adhesion and combining with the pigments gives the protection to the steel material against corrosion.
